Authority on the move!
Man its been crazy…. So I finished up my drums in 3 days and I’m SUPER stoked on how everything turned out! Zach went in after the weekend to start guitars and nailed out all of his rhythm tracks in 3 days as well! Killer job Zach, sounds amazing! Jeremy on the other hand had to go raise the bar on all of us… He did 9 tracks in 9 hours! I must say its an absolute honor to play with such a talented Bassist I couldn’t ask for anyone better to play music with! Now we are wrapping up on overdub guitars and leads then its up to Jason to put the final coat of wax on this thing so we can release it to the world! Hope you all are as excited as I am!
The other day i was skimming through some old Authority files and i found some video I took of me playing on the PW tour! I’ve been going through it all and i’m in the process of editing a few songs to post up. I’ll be doing my best to have a new song up every week if not more often so make sure you check back for an updated video!

Suprise Visit
So the last post I did was at the beginning of Warped Tour. Well yesterday was the last day of Warped and it was definitely an interesting 5 days. We’ve been making fools of ourselves with a megaphone in order to get people to come by the booth and check us out, and it worked quite well. We broke out The Rope Game which is basically a game of tug of war upon to small boxes and got everyone around us involved. That was definitely interesting, especially when the day got later and most of the people wanting to participate had been drinking in the sun for 6 hours. Our merch guy Turtle decided a couple days ago that he was tired of looking at all the “free hugs” signs, so he decided to make one of his own. “Free hugs or….” on one side and “Free Dick” on the other! hahah It was hilarious to see the reactions on peoples faces to this sign…. Guys girls know one really knew what to think or say when they saw it, but either was it actually brought people over to the booth and most of them left with a shirt or CD…. Good job Turtle!
So yesterday as we are now later into the day and the sun has been beating our heads to insanity a very um how should i say “interesting” character gave us a visit! Jeffery Star! This guy/girl whatever was walking around all day and you should have seen the crowd behind him/her. It was like Michael Jackson was in the building! Now you know for a fact that we are pretty shameless and if this “person” walks by us… well its on we are going to say whatever or do whatever to make sure people see us… Bill decided that he would call “it” over and try to make conversation. The conversation didn’t last long but then the brillant idea of “Free Dick” came up and we just had to get a photo! So here you go people Jeffery Star and our merch guy Turtle with some ‘FREE DICK” hahah!
All in all Warped Tour was a really great time and we had a blast! I’de personally like to thank everyone who stoped by the booth and checked us out, or came to the show to support us, we really appreciate it!
Warped and delirious..
So I know allot of you out there have never had the pleasure of being on the warped tour and let me say it really is a blast but one thing you never hear about is the lack of sleep if you are a band traveling in a van. We’re only doing the last 5 dates on the tour this year and we have to do 4 overnight drives in those 5 days… It’s a hell of allot of fun out here yelling at people with a bullhorn and trying to hustle people out of their money to get us to the next show but let me tell ya, 2 days of 12 hours in the baking sun and driving 8 hours to the next venue to do it all over again will really take a toll on the brain ha!
So far the only good tour story is that we had a guy come up to the merch booth and drink one of Bill’s spit cups (chew) for a free CD! Disgusting… OH ya and we got the whole thing on video! Make sure you check out the azero myspace page for a glimpse of that!

For the last 2+ months we’ve been putting together an all new Ransomapparel.com for you guys and let me tell ya it has not been an easy task! I have to give a HUGE shout out to Derek from Dreamcodesign.com for helping me out with some of the bigger challenges! Thanks dude you seriously rock! Here is a list of the new features:
1. Added an all new store!
2. I put in a whole new blog that both Adam and I will be updating with everything and anything under the sun!
3. I updated my portfolio on the “design” page. I’ll be keeping this updates as i do new work and new clients come in! IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A DESIGNER FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME!
4. Speaking of contact. I added in a message page where you can send us an email straight from our website!
5. The journey page will give you the insight behind Ransom and how i started out
6. “Hollar” is a page for you to grab any or all of your favorite banners for your myspace and facebook pages!
7. The dealer page is a place for us to list any and all stores that are carrying Ransom Apparel! We don’t have any stores right now so if you know a local shop that you think should be carrying our stuff then have them contact us!
8. Lasy but certainly not least we’ve added links to our Myspace and Facebook profiles so you all can add us as friends on 2 of the biggest social networks on the Internet!

For those of you who don’t know My Fiance Melis is a tattoo artist at Club Tattoo. Over the years of working for club she’s had some really cool opportunities to do paintings for shows, a line of shoes for Etnies and now she has her own water! Yesterday she came home with a case of this and i was really stoked! Melis has been a huge inspiration in the drive behind Ransom and Authority Zero just pushing me as an artist and helping me take a second look at things i do before they go to print.
